Role & Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager – Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales performance within a designated market, aligned with ABB’s divisional strategy. The role focuses on achieving sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales of products, systems, and services within the assigned market/division
- Achieve qualitative and quantitative sales targets consistently
- Identify and develop new business and sales opportunities
- Communicate delivery schedules, payment terms, and conditions clearly to customers
- Execute effective marketing activities to showcase ABB’s value proposition
- Handle sales process administration, supporting cash collection and project execution
- Ensure a positive customer experience using strong negotiation and sales techniques
- Work closely with panel builders and industrial end users, especially in the Mumbai market
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- B.E. / Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- 8+ years of professional experience in sales
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer-specific needs
- Experience in knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration
- Ability to work effectively across regions and countries
- Hands-on exposure to panel builders and industrial end users, with strong Mumbai market knowledge
